Hi, Burke Miller here. Welcome.
I have enjoyed working with my clients in my psychotherapy practice since 1990. I am honored to support my clients in their desires for growth and healing and for making meaningful change in their lives. That often translates to one feeling more of a sense of aliveness and connection to themselves as well as experiencing a greater sense of personal agency and engagement in their lives.
Finding a therapist is a deeply personal decision. And finding the right fit in terms of communication style is important for fostering a sense of safety and support that is so necessary for the healing process.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process. Each person comes to therapy seeking something different. Perhaps it’s a need to be understood, seen or felt on an emotional level. Whatever the initial reason for initiating therapy, the foundation of the work is to establish an environment of support, safety and openness to explore your therapeutic goals and needs.
I work with a wide variety of issues that are not limited to the following:
- Loss & Grief
- Depression & Anxiety
- Relational Conflicts
- Midlife & Aging Issues
- Life Transitions
- Trauma & PTSD
- Stress Management
- Creativity & Spirituality
